My Picks for Audible’s Daily Deal Sale
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien–I can’t tell you how many times my son has listened to this one!
The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood by Howard Pyle–This is a classic, but it can be more challenging as a read aloud. I was excited to see it on sale and grabbed a copy for my own family.
The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill--I really enjoyed this beautifully written book. However, there is a main, positive character who is a witch, so if that crosses your comfort line, this book is not for you.
Aesop’s Fables by Aesop–A classic must for younger kids.
Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis--This is my all time favorite book. I’d recommend it for late high school through adult.
The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy–This is just a fun read (and movie!). High school to adult is my recommendation on this classic.
